EGIJA NAIJA is a not-for-profit art outfit whose birth was with the aim of creating platforms and opportunities for young art enthusiasts as well as satisfying the need of our audience.
THEATRE AND DRAMA
Our Community Engagement Program
The rehearsal is a weekly gathering of vulnerable youths in the community, where they are taught the basic skills of acting, and oral storytelling. This program allows us to replace Vulnerability with values, hence reducing social and substance abuse in the community.
THE LEISURE PERFORMANCE
Our leisure performance is a stage presentation of plays for workers, such as bankers, medical doctors, engineers and more. We design this program as a way of using the art to reduce work stress.
THE SCHOOL TOUR
The school tour is a program for students, where we conduct workshops and stage performances such as; plays oral storytelling and poetry. This is design so as to imbibe in the student the beauty and moral values art tends to bring.
